PCE Superplasticizer Liquid — Finished High-Range Water Reducer

A ready-to-dose polycarboxylate ether based admixture for ready-mix plants, precast producers and high-strength concrete applications. Third-party tested at 29% water reduction.

Polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE) production reactors inside the Cravco plant

Product Overview

This PCE superplasticizer liquid is a finished concrete admixture, not an intermediate. It is dosed directly at the batching plant, which means you do not need additional compounding capacity, formulation staff or blending equipment to use it — an important consideration for distributors and ready-mix operators entering the PCE market.

  • Chemistry: polycarboxylate ether based high-range water reducer
  • Form: liquid, ready to dose
  • Reported water reduction: 29% (third-party test, standard-type sample)
  • Supplied with batch COA, TDS and SDS
  • Produced under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system

Key Benefits

Low dosage, high effect

The polymer delivers strong dispersion at comparatively low addition rates, which directly affects cost per cubic metre rather than cost per tonne.

Strength and durability headroom

Removing free water allows higher strength at the same cement content, or equivalent strength with less cement — subject to your own trial confirmation.

Low chloride, low alkali

Reported chloride content of 0.011% and total alkali of 0.10% support reinforced, prestressed and durability-focused specifications.

Tunable workability retention

Retarding and slump-retention variants are available for hot climates and long haul times once your transit conditions are known.

Clean dispensing

Liquid form integrates directly into standard admixture dosing systems used at modern batching plants.

Batch traceability

Production lots are tested and retained, allowing any later quality discussion to reference a specific batch record rather than opinions.

Technical Specifications

The values below are results from the 2025 third-party inspection report issued by Guangdong Guangye Inspection and Testing Group, evaluated against JG/T 223-2017 (dated 2025-04-16) for the standard-type sample.

Reported results for the submitted standard-type sample. Values describe the sample tested, not a batch guarantee.

The commercial specification — including solid content tolerance, density, pH, recommended dosage range, storage conditions and shelf life — is issued per confirmed grade in the current TDS. Request the current TDS before placing an order.

Applications

  • Ready-mix concrete — workability control across varying haul times.
  • Precast concrete — higher early strength to shorten demoulding cycles.
  • High-strength concrete — workable mixes at low water-cement ratios.
  • Self-compacting concrete — high fluidity without segregation, subject to fines control.
  • Pumped concrete — improved pumpability and cohesion.

Different grades suit different objectives. Tell us whether your priority is raw water reduction, slump retention or early strength, and we will recommend accordingly rather than shipping the same product to everyone. More detail is available on the PCE product line page.

Quality Control

Products are manufactured at a plant operating a ISO 9001:2015 / GB/T 19001-2016 quality management system whose certified scope covers the production and sale of polycarboxylate high-performance water reducers, naphthalene-based high-efficiency water reducers and coal-water slurry dispersants. • Incoming raw material control and formulation versioning
  • Batch testing before release, with batch COA issued per shipment
  • Retention samples kept for traceability and later comparison
  • National high-tech enterprise recognition held by the production base

Packaging & Delivery

  • Packing: IBC tanks and drums standard; flexitank assessed against compatibility and handling conditions.
  • Loading: container net load calculated from actual density, packing tare weight, container type and road transport limits — no assumed 1,000-litre-to-one-tonne conversions.
  • Sea freight: full container load. Classification and booking confirmed with the carrier against the current SDS.
  • Incoterms: quoted per order; FCA or FOB confirmed against actual delivery responsibility.
  • Lead time: production lead time and transit time are quoted separately, and only after confirmation against the production schedule.

Documentation Provided

  • Batch COA
  • Technical data sheet (TDS) in English
  • Safety data sheet (SDS) in English
  • Third-party inspection report (2025) and hazard identification testing record on request
  • Commercial invoice, packing list and shipment documents

We would rather send too much documentation than too little — most import delays we see are paperwork problems, not product problems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this PCE liquid supplied ready to use?

Yes — this is a finished admixture dosed directly at the batching plant, with no further compounding required. The dosage itself must still be established by trial using your own cement, aggregates and temperature conditions.

What documents come with each shipment?

Each batch ships with a batch COA, and TDS and SDS are provided in English before order confirmation. A third-party test summary is available beforehand; original reports and certificates are shown during a factory verification visit.

How much PCE liquid do I need per cubic metre?

Determined by trial, not by table. The 1.8% figure in the 2025 report was a test condition, not a dosing recommendation. Share your cement type, aggregates, target slump and strength grade and we will suggest a trial starting point.

How many tonnes fit in a container?

We calculate it from actual density, packing tare weight, container type and road limits, then confirm per order. We do not publish a fixed container tonnage, because guessing it is how shipments end up overweight or half empty.

Do you publish a price per tonne?

Not on this page. Pricing depends on grade, packing, quantity, Incoterms and destination port, and it changes. Send us the grade and volume you need and we will quote with a validity period and stated terms — see the contact page.

Request TDS, COA and a PCE lab sample

Tell us your cement type, target strength, haul time and monthly volume. We will confirm the right grade, send documentation, and arrange a sample for your own trial mix.
